Fred Agbedi Named 10th House of Reps Minority Leader

Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, has appointed Fred Agbedi as Minority Leader of the 10th House of Representatives. Agbedi represents the Ekeremo-Sagbama Federal Constituency in Bayelsa State. Abdusammad Dasuki will serve as Deputy Minority Leader, while Manur Soro takes on the role of Minority Whip. The G-60 opposition caucus had pressed the chamber to fill the vacancy, even threatening to suspend proceedings if the leadership did not act. The new lineup highlights the House’s commitment to inclusive dialogue and diverse perspectives in advancing Nigeria’s legislative agenda.
