PDP BOT Member Ugochukwu Okeke Mourns Former Chairman Bamanga Tukur
PDP Board of Trustees member Ugochukwu Okeke has mourned former national chairman Bamanga Tukur, describing him as a major figure in Nigeria’s political and economic history. Okeke recalled meeting Tukur during the PDP’s 2013 governorship primaries, when Tukur led the party through intense internal contests and competing interests. He said Tukur helped sustain the party’s national structure and support base during that period. Tukur previously served as governor of old Gongola State, general manager of the Nigerian Ports Authority and Minister of Industries. Okeke extended condolences to Tukur’s family, associates, the people of Adamawa and PDP members.
