Bayelsa United Ex-Players Donate Jerseys Ahead of NNL Campaign
Former Bayelsa United players have donated a set of jerseys to support the club’s preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria National League season following its relegation. The ex-players’ leader, Dr Ebiki Timitimi, said the donation was a modest contribution towards the team’s pre-season programme and friendly matches. He added that former players remain committed to the club’s progress and urged critics to engage the management constructively. Receiving the jerseys, club representative Godson Ekadi described the gesture as an important morale boost for the board, technical crew and players. He called on corporate organisations, stakeholders and oil companies operating in Bayelsa State to also support the club.
