VAR Matt Donohue and assistant VAR Blake Antrobus have not been assigned to Premier League matches this weekend following the controversial Manchester derby decision. Enzo Fernandez was said to have been in an offside position while attempting to play the ball before Erling Haaland scored. The officials will not return to duty until at least after the international break. Former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison said the decision was justified, arguing that major errors must have consequences while officials should still be allowed to referee again.
