ICE Agents Shoot Dead Driver Who Allegedly Charged at Them in Maine
On July 13 in Biddeford, Maine, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers opened fire after a driver reportedly accelerated toward them at an intersection. Graphic footage on social media shows the man lying beside his car with a bullet hole in the windshield. Witnesses say the officers, clad in green vests, drew their weapons and fired about four rounds when the vehicle moved toward the agents. A nearby resident later saw the man collapse bleeding from a head wound. Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the deadly encounter.
