Three Killed, Five Injured in Gunmen Attack at Plateau Market
Three people were reportedly killed when gunmen attacked Yan Gwari Market in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The deceased were identified as Nanker Andrew, Delshak Jacob and Jessica Thomas. Five others, including Polina Colis, Gloria Fwanshak, Sekyen Lonkat and Bamret Thomas, were reportedly receiving medical treatment. The details of the fifth injured person were not immediately clear. The attackers reportedly left through the Water Board axis after also accosting Abdul Muhammad near the Kwata area of the market. Authorities are yet to confirm the attackers’ identity, motive and final casualty figures.
