Suspected Ritualists Kill 11-Year-Old Almajiri Boy In Bauchi, Remove His Brain (Graphic Photos) > An 11-year-old boy, an Almajiri pupil identified as Muhd Yunusa has been killed by suspected ritualists and his brain removed in Bauchi State, HGS Media Plus reports. The incident happened on Saturday, November 20 in Dutsen Kofar Wambai area of Bauchi State. According to reports, the suspects lured two Almajiri pupils, Muhd Yunusa, age 11 and Aminu Yusuf, age 12 who went out to beg for alms into a dark corner pretending that they wanted to give them something. The suspects were said to have smashed the skull of one of the boys, Muhd Yunusa and removed his brain before escaping. Consequently, the second boy managed to escape from the assailants and narrated to residents what had happened. Upon getting to the scene, residents discovered the body of the deceased and the police was immediately alerted. Confirming the incident, spokesperson of the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Muhammad Ahmad Wakil, said they went to the scene of the incident where they met the body of the deceased lying in his blood after they received a distress call from a good Samaritan that an unknown persons have used a stone to break the skull of an Almajiri pupil. He added that the State Commissioner of Police, Sylvester Abiodun Alabi has directed the Divisional Police Officer DPO, A Division, to act with immediate effect to bring the perpetrators of this dastardly act to book.
