His convoy was reportedly blocked by demonstrators along Boko Road near the Air Force Base in Makurdi. A viral video showed people occupying the road and chanting against him as security operatives looked on. Speaking afterwards, Obi urged Nigerians to reject divisive politics and embrace unity, justice, love and safety for all citizens.
