Musician Arrested for Alleged Assault on 61-Year-Old Alzheimer’s Patient
A musician hired to entertain residents at a senior care facility has been charged with rape and elder abuse after surveillance footage captured him stripping in a 61-year-old Alzheimer’s patient’s room. The patient’s daughter installed cameras to monitor her mother. In the June 2025 recording, the 39-year-old volunteer pianist is seen undressing and later discarding a condom before getting dressed and leaving her nude. Police were alerted immediately. Alvarado now faces felony charges, and a $25 million lawsuit alleges the facility failed in supervision and resident protection. The home issued a statement saying resident safety is its top priority and will fully cooperate with investigators.
