NIMASA Opens Blue Economy Accelerator Applications for Young Nigerian Innovators

NIMASA will open applications for its Blue Economy Accelerator Programme on October 5, 2026. The initiative is designed to help young Nigerians develop technology, business and innovation solutions for the maritime and blue economy sectors. Programme materials list eligibility for Nigerians aged 18 to 40. Applications close on November 13, followed by evaluation and due diligence from November 16 to December 2. Successful applicants will take part in a National Innovation Hackathon from December 8 to 10. Selected innovators will then enter a 12-week accelerator programme in the first quarter of 2027, ending with a National Demo Day in the second quarter.
