Ndidi Starts as Besiktas Beat Hoffenheim 3-2 in Europa League Thriller

Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi started for Besiktas as the Turkish side secured a 3-2 away win over Hoffenheim in the Europa League. Amir Murillo opened the scoring on the hour mark, but Fisnik Asllani equalised for Hoffenheim eight minutes later. Oh Hyeon-Gyu then struck twice, in the 72nd and 79th minutes, to put Besiktas firmly ahead. Koki Machida pulled one back for Hoffenheim late on, but Besiktas held out for their second win of the league phase. Ndidi played until the 90th minute.
