Google Offers Eligible Nigerian Students Free 12-Month AI Plus Subscription
Google has announced a free 12-month Google AI Plus subscription for Nigerian students aged 18 and above who are enrolled in accredited universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. The offer includes enhanced access to Gemini, Gemini Live, Deep Research, Guided Learning, customised practice quizzes, unlimited file uploads and 400GB of cloud storage. Google says the package is valued at ₦92,400 per student. Students who used the offer in the previous academic year can renew it for another 12 months after confirming their student status. Eligible students can verify their enrolment through the designated verification process to claim the subscription. Google says its Guided Learning feature is designed to help students understand concepts through hints and questions instead of simply supplying answers. The offer is also available in 26 other countries across Sub-Saharan Africa.
