Lagos Police Arrest Four Suspected Cultists, Recover Pistol and Ammunition in Mushin
Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command’s Violent Crime Response Unit have arrested four suspected members of the Aiye Confraternity in Mushin. Police said the operation followed intelligence on cult-related activities in the area. One suspect allegedly provided information that led officers to recover a locally made Beretta pistol and a 9mm live round at Idi-Oro, Mushin. Three other suspects were later arrested around Aganran, Ojuwoye. Police said investigations are ongoing and efforts are being made to arrest other alleged members of the group. The Lagos police command urged residents to report suspicious activity through official emergency channels.
