Four Killed in Oregon Elementary School Shooting as Teen Suspect Is Shot
Three children aged 5, 8 and 11, and a teacher were killed in a shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon. A 7-year-old child and another teacher, aged 54, were critically injured. Police said the 16-year-old suspect was shot by a community member who pursued him inside the school. The first emergency call reportedly came from a motorist who said they had been shot at by someone carrying a long firearm.
