Akin Faminu and Kiky Festus Unveil Their First Traditional Wedding Look
Akin Faminu and Kiky Festus have begun their traditional wedding celebrations with a striking first look that blends heritage, colour and contemporary Nigerian style. Kiky wore a metallic-gold mermaid gown detailed with ruby-red beadwork, sculpted draping and coral-bead accessories. Her look was completed with a coral-bead cap and a traditional horsetail. Akin paired a cream embroidered outfit with a rich brown velvet outer garment featuring white wave-pattern embroidery. He finished the ensemble with layered coral beads, a feathered cap and a traditional staff. The coordinated outfits, created by Nigerian fashion designers and styled by The Style Infidel, follow the couple’s civil wedding in Lagos earlier this year.
