Nasarawa Man Arrested After Beating Wife to Death Over Food Dispute
A 30-year-old father of two was arrested in Angwan Yahaya community, Nasarawa state, after allegedly beating his 20-year-old wife to death over her failure to prepare food. The victim was taken to a teaching hospital in Lafia for examination, but she succumbed to her injuries. According to a police statement, the couple had been married for six years. Officers responded to a distress call at Agyaragu Police Division and promptly arrested the suspect, who confessed to the crime during interrogation and expressed remorse.
