Born Into Royalty: Living in Your Identity in Christ
Every believer is born into God’s royal family through faith in Christ. As 1 Peter 2:9 teaches, we are a chosen people and a royal priesthood. Romans 8:16–17 also reminds us that, as God’s children, we are heirs with Christ. Being seated with Christ in heavenly places is a present spiritual reality. We do not need to live as victims of fear, sin, condemnation or difficult circumstances. Our identity and authority come from our union with Christ. Let God’s Word renew your mind daily. Live with the confidence of someone already accepted, empowered and loved by God. Ask yourself: Does my life reflect the authority and inheritance I have in Christ? Prayer: Father, open my understanding to see who I am in Christ. Help my thoughts, words and actions reflect my true identity as Your child. Amen.
