20 Super Eagles Players Arrive in Uyo for Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau Qualifiers
Twenty players have reported to the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of the opening AFCON 2027 qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. Head coach Éric Chelle and his technical crew are also in camp for the team’s first training session. Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Raphael Onyedika and new invitees Arthur Okonkwo and George Ilenikhena are among the early arrivals. Captain Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze, Stanley Nwabali and Maduka Okoye are expected to complete the 24-man squad. Nigeria will host Madagascar in Uyo on September 25 before travelling to face Guinea-Bissau on September 29.
