Gary Neville Says Man City’s Anfield Win Is Bad News for the Premier League

Gary Neville says Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield has been overshadowed by the club’s ongoing financial-rules case. City took control after Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch was sent off for a second yellow card. Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku and Rayan Cherki scored as City extended their strong start under Enzo Maresca. Neville praised City’s performance but said the unresolved case made it difficult to celebrate the result without reservations. He warned that the uncertainty could continue to cast a cloud over the Premier League for months.
