Djokovic Targets Record 25th Grand Slam at US Open
Novak Djokovic says he is as prepared as possible for his 20th US Open appearance, where he will chase a record 25th Grand Slam singles title. The Serbian said his early Cincinnati Open exit gave him two extra weeks to train and prepare mentally and physically for the demands of New York. Seeded fourth, Djokovic will begin his campaign against Argentina’s Mariano Navone on Arthur Ashe Stadium. He admitted that opening matches can be difficult, especially in best-of-five-set Grand Slam tennis.
