NCDMB, Partners Begin Transformer Repair Training for 40 UNIZIK Students
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NexDepot Nigeria Ltd and El Zino have begun a one-month electrical power transformer repair and maintenance training for 40 students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Twenty-eight of the participants are engineering students. The programme focuses on transformer operations, maintenance procedures, safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment. Organisers said participants will receive practical industry exposure, safety materials, certificates and stipends at the end of the training. The initiative is intended to strengthen students’ technical skills and improve their readiness for jobs in the power and industrial sectors.
