Dino Melaye Lists Reasons He Says He Will Not Support Tinubu
Former Kogi West senator Dino Melaye says he will not support President Bola Tinubu, citing the cost of fuel, electricity, food and air travel, as well as worsening insecurity and youth unemployment. In a social-media post, Melaye also criticised the administration’s borrowing, infrastructure decisions and handling of public institutions. He raised further allegations about the President’s health, identity and past, but did not provide evidence for those claims. Melaye, now with the African Democratic Congress after previously belonging to the PDP and APC, said his position is based on what he describes as the government’s poor record since 2023.
