Ogun Police Arrest Butcher Over Colleague’s Death After Workplace Dispute

Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 21-year-old butcher after his 26-year-old colleague died following a disagreement at their workplace in Alagbole, Ogun State. Police said the incident was reported at Ajuwon Police Station at about 8 p.m. on October 18. The two men had reportedly finished work at a meat-selling outlet when they argued over who should sweep the floor. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim during the altercation. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was confirmed dead. Police said the suspect remains in custody while investigations continue ahead of possible prosecution.
