Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has won the Gran Galà del Calcio Triveneto award as Udinese’s best player for the 2025/26 season. Okoye returned strongly after missing the opening two months of the campaign through suspension. He kept 10 clean sheets in 29 Serie A matches and produced notable performances against AC Milan and Juventus. The 27-year-old will not attend the award ceremony in Vicenza because Udinese face Torino later that day. He is expected to remain with the squad as they prepare for the league fixture.
