Oyo Man Seeks Divorce, Alleges Wife Threatens Him With a Knife

Adebisi has asked the Mapo Grade A Customary Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, to dissolve his marriage, alleging that his wife, Feyisara, is violent and has threatened him with a knife during arguments. He told the court that their frequent fights have created hostility between both families, especially their mothers. He said he fears for his safety and wants the marriage ended. Feyisara was absent from the hearing despite reportedly being served court papers. The court adjourned the case and ordered that a fresh hearing notice be served on her.
