Boko Haram Burns Schools in Chibok, Borno
Suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters attacked Kautikari village in Chibok LGA around 7pm on Saturday. They set fire to a primary and a day secondary school there. This comes weeks after pupils were abducted from Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School in Askira-Uba and held for nearly a month. No casualties were reported but residents fled into nearby bush for safety. A local source noted that the village had been attacked before without property damage. Efforts to reach the police public relations officer were unsuccessful.
