INEC Opens 2027 Election Ad-Hoc Staff Recruitment Portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission has opened applications for ad-hoc staff who will work during the 2027 general election. The application window is scheduled to close on November 18, 2026. Available roles include Supervisory Presiding Officers, Registration Area Centre Managers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers and Registration Area Technical Support personnel. Eligible applicants include qualified public servants, NYSC members, penultimate-year tertiary students, former corps members and applicants with relevant IT skills, depending on the role. Applicants must not belong to or openly support a political party or candidate. Interested Nigerians should review the requirements for their preferred category and apply only through INEC's official recruitment channels before the deadline.
