Why Peter Obi’s 2027 Presidential Bid Is Doomed by Igbo Marginalization

I am surprised that as an Igbo man, Peter Obi has not learned any lesson from his quest to lead the British contraption called Nigeria. He jumps from party to party and still dines with the same establishment that helped create our current crisis. Despite his frugality as a former governor, Obi lacks the discipline and principle to stand apart from the corrupt elite. Even if he wins, the evil cabal that holds this country together will rig him out or deny him power simply because he is Igbo. Running again in 2027 will only repeat the painful cycle. No Igbo man will ever be allowed to rule this contraption, no matter how many votes he secures. Peter Obi is setting himself up for another big disappointment. I believe he should abandon his presidential ambition. Instead, he should use his international platform to push for total restructuring or even dissolution of Nigeria. That is the surest way to bring lasting peace and progress for all indigenous people.
