PSC Announces Shortlist of 50,000 Police Constable Recruits

The Police Service Commission has released the names of candidates shortlisted for 50,000 police constable positions. The exercise was held in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Character Commission and other agencies. Applicants can check their recruitment status on the official portal from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, 16 July 2026. Shortlisted candidates will also receive notifications via the email addresses and phone numbers they provided. Successful applicants must report to their assigned police training institutions on the dates to be communicated for medical examinations and document verification. They should bring their training call-up slip, national ID, bank verification slip, original and photocopies of their certificates, and other required items. Those who fail to report on time or do not pass the medical exam will forfeit their offer.
