Porsha Williams’ Ex-Husband Simon Guobadia Indicted Over Alleged False Tax Returns
Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia, former husband of reality TV star Porsha Williams, has reportedly been indicted by federal prosecutors in Georgia over alleged false tax filings. Court documents reportedly show he faces two counts of assisting with the preparation and filing of false federal tax returns. Prosecutors allege that he reported zero taxable income in March 2021 despite higher earnings, while his company, Simcol Petroleum Limited, recorded more than $45 million in gross sales. In another July 2021 filing, Guobadia allegedly reported taxable income of $58,231 while the company recorded nearly $31 million in gross sales. An arrest warrant was reportedly issued, though it is unclear whether he has been taken into custody. Guobadia and Williams married in November 2022 before their divorce in February 2024. He was also reportedly deported from the United States in 2025 over immigration-related issues.
