He quit without securing a new job, and six months later, he blames me for being unemployed. He moved into my apartment after our parents asked me to accommodate him. At first, he paid his share of bills and handled his own expenses. But after his savings began to run low, he stopped contributing and expected me to cook and care for him. Things reached a breaking point when he broke some of my plates, refused to clean up, and again blamed me for his situation. Our mother wants me to be patient, but I feel she has enabled his behaviour for years. I want him out of my home by the end of the month. Was I wrong to advise him to quit, or is he using me as an excuse for his own choices?
