Governor Radda Mourns Victims of Nigerian Air Force Jet Crash in Ondo

Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has expressed condolences to President Bola Tinubu, the Ondo State Government, the Nigerian Air Force and the families of those affected by the ATR-42 jet crash near Igbokoda, Ondo State. The governor described the incident as a painful national loss, saying the officers were on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos when the aircraft crashed. Radda supported the President’s call for a thorough investigation into the crash and pledged Katsina State’s solidarity with the Armed Forces and the bereaved families. The aircraft was reported to be carrying 25 passengers and seven crew members.
