Tinubu Commissions Jahi-Gwarimpa Interchange, Urges Nigerians to Pay Taxes

Tinubu Commissions Jahi-Gwarimpa Interchange, Urges Nigerians to Pay Taxes

President Tinubu has appealed to Nigerians and Abuja residents to pay their taxes and levies to fund more infrastructure projects across the country. At the commissioning of the N16–Ring Road III interchange, linking Jahi and Gwarimpa, he was represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The President described the project as a game-changer for mobility and economic growth. He noted that the new interchange ends years of gridlock from Maitama to Gishiri. “This is freedom of movement and time returned to the people,” Tinubu said. The President added that roads are the arteries of a nation. He urged citizens to meet their civic obligations by paying taxes so government can sustain and expand public services.
