Sagamu Day 2026: Celebrating Remo Heritage and Unity

I celebrate the people of Sagamu on Sagamu Day 2026. The occasion is a chance to honour the community’s cultural heritage, traditions and enduring sense of identity. From traditional music and customs to communal gatherings, Sagamu Day reflects the values that unite the Remo people. It also recognises the royal institution and the leadership of the Akarigbo of Remoland. May unity, respect, love and togetherness continue to guide Sagamu. May the community’s culture and heritage remain strong for future generations.
