Why Spiritual Formation Matters More Than Knowledge for Purity

Daily Purity Digest — 8 November 2026 “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18 Sexual purity involves more than learning. Spiritual information can increase what you know, but spiritual formation gradually changes your desires, habits and responses. That growth comes through steady practices, honest relationships, accountability and a deeper connection with God. It takes patience, but it can lead to lasting inner change. Instead of asking only what more you need to learn, consider which practices and relationships are shaping you. I acknowledge that sex is sacred and designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honor its sanctity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
