The video used footage from a Trump rally and paired it with references to Grande’s lyrics. In response, the singer commented: “Never use my music again,” adding that the account’s “truth is false.” Grande’s label is reportedly seeking the removal of the song from the post. She previously objected after another of her songs was used in a video about immigration arrests, and she has publicly supported LGBTQ+ causes.
