Madagascar’s Raveloson Says Barea Are Ready for Super Eagles Clash in Uyo
Madagascar midfielder Rayan Raveloson says his side are not intimidated by the Super Eagles ahead of Friday’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo. The Barea arrive as underdogs against a Nigeria squad featuring Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze. Raveloson said Madagascar see the fixture as an opportunity to compete rather than a reason for fear. Nigeria’s camp has reached 23 players after captain Wilfred Ndidi, Chukwueze and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali joined the squad.
