Awoniyi, Onyeka Feature as Man City Beat Coventry 1-0

Erling Haaland’s first-half goal gave Manchester City a 1-0 Premier League win over newly promoted Coventry at the Etihad Stadium. Nigeria internationals Taiwo Awoniyi and Frank Onyeka started for Coventry. Onyeka was substituted in the 63rd minute, while Awoniyi made way in the 71st minute. The defeat leaves Coventry bottom after losing their opening three league matches. Elsewhere, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey featured as Fulham lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace, while Ola Aina played in Nottingham Forest’s goalless draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
