Super Eagles Drop to 30th in FIFA Rankings After Mixed International Window
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have fallen four places to 30th in the latest FIFA men’s world rankings. They are now sixth in Africa, having dropped out of the continent’s top five. Nigeria lost 17.05 ranking points, falling from 1,585.02 to 1,567.97. Algeria and Côte d’Ivoire moved ahead of the three-time African champions. The team beat Madagascar 2-1 in an AFCON qualifier but suffered a 3-0 loss to Guinea-Bissau before drawing 3-3 with Russia. Morocco remain Africa’s highest-ranked side in seventh place globally, followed by Senegal, Egypt, Algeria and Côte d’Ivoire.
