Streams of Joy Responds After Woman Alleges Mistaken ₦1.64m Transfer to Church Account
Streams of Joy International has responded after a woman, Sandra Okpara, alleged in a viral video that she mistakenly transferred ₦1.64 million to the church’s account. She said the money was not intended as an offering and appealed for it to be returned. The church said it had not received a call, email, direct message or formal complaint from her before the video was published. According to the church, it has contacted the woman using the number in the video and has begun verifying her claim. It added that erroneous-transfer reports are handled through its verification process and promised to resolve the matter if the claim is confirmed.
