Arthur Okonkwo Targets AFCON and World Cup Success With Super Eagles
Coventry City goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo says he hopes to win the Africa Cup of Nations and play at the FIFA World Cup with Nigeria. The 24-year-old made his Super Eagles debut against Zimbabwe at the Unity Cup in May. He was also included in the squads for June friendlies against Poland and Portugal. Okonkwo could make his first competitive appearance for Nigeria in Friday’s 2027 AFCON qualifier against Madagascar. He says he is focused on learning from experienced teammates and contributing positively to the squad.
