Crystal Palace Sign Former Arsenal Defender Takehiro Tomiyasu

Crystal Palace have signed former Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu after a successful trial period. The 27-year-old Japan international becomes Pierre Sage’s second summer signing after Óscar Mingueza. He can play at right-back, left-back or centre-back and will wear the No. 17 shirt. Tomiyasu spent four years at Arsenal before joining Ajax for the second half of last season. The 46-cap Japan international said he was excited to join Palace after the club’s recent trophy-winning run.
