A Prayer for Grace to Pray According to God’s Will

Loving Father, teach me to pray as Jesus prayed, with a heart that stays close to You each day. May my prayers honour Your name and rise before You as an offering of faith. Lord, my desire and strength to pray can sometimes be weak. Help me to surrender my own wishes and seek Your good and perfect will in every prayer. Renew a right spirit within me and strengthen me to pray in spirit and truth. Let my words, thoughts and requests be pleasing to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
