100-Level Registration Checklist for Newly Admitted Nigerian Students

Newly admitted students should begin preparing for clearance and registration. Keep the originals and photocopies of your O’Level result, JAMB admission letter, UTME or Post-UTME slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, state-of-origin certificate, school testimonial, reference letter and passport photographs. Accept your admission on JAMB CAPS, print your admission letter, then complete your biodata and document uploads on your institution’s portal. Pay the required acceptance and school fees, attend faculty verification, and complete departmental registration to obtain your matriculation number. Requirements vary by school. LASU uses its digital LACACA clearance process, while UNILAG requires drug testing for new students. Direct Entry candidates may also need their previous qualification and verified result. Confirm all dates, venues and school-specific requirements from your institution’s official portal to avoid delays.
