Josh Maja Close to Joining Le Havre on Free Transfer
Former Super Eagles striker Josh Maja is close to joining Ligue 1 side Le Havre on a free transfer after leaving West Bromwich Albion. Reports in France say the 27-year-old has agreed to a two-year deal, with an option for a further year. He became a free agent after turning down a contract extension from West Brom. Maja scored 12 goals to finish as West Brom’s top scorer in the 2024/25 season, despite missing the second half of the campaign through injury. A move to Le Havre would see him return to France, where he previously played for Bordeaux.
