Can Mild Hip Pain Disqualify Me from SSC Army Application?

I plan to join the Nigerian Army through the Short Service Combat Commission after completing my NYSC. I have a physics degree and will apply in the next recruitment window. For years I’ve had a sharp pinch and crackling in my left hip. It started from poor posture and over-relying on that side. The pain eased over time, and I can walk, squat, and run without limping. However, my left hip feels shorter and won’t lift as high when I lie down. I can’t afford private physiotherapy, and public hospitals are difficult to access. I welcome advice from military doctors, orthopedic specialists, or experienced soldiers on whether this hip issue could affect my application. Please also share any SSC recruitment tips or personal experiences.
