2-year-old Boy Rescued After Been Starved And Maltreated By Father & Stepmother
A man has been arrested by the police for Maltreatment and starving his 2-year-old son identified as simply as Ziko. The man and the child’s stepmother has been accused of constantly inflicting pains on the toddler and starving him for reasons unknown. The couple and the abused child lives at No 113 Okumagba Avenue, Ojabugbe junction off Deco Road, Warri, Delta State. Eyewitness account reveal that couple will always attack the neighbors for giving food to child and would starve him all day. Freshrepoters however learnt that the biological mother of the child left him with the father and is out of reach at the time of this report. However, after series of calls to human rights activists, the child has been rescued and taken to the hospital for proper medical attention. The father of the child that looked so malnourished at the time of the rescue is arrested and detained at B division Warri.
