Army Arrests Suspected Boko Haram Logistics Supplier in Maiduguri
Troops of the 7 Division Provost Group arrested a 25-year-old man in Maiduguri on June 1, 2026. The suspect, Mohammed Bulama of Mafa Local Government Area, was detained at Muna Garage around 4:30 p.m. following intelligence-led surveillance in the Maiduguri Metropolitan Council. Security sources say preliminary investigations link him to supplying logistics and information to Boko Haram. He confessed to knowing other members of the group and offered to help identify them. Bulama remains in the custody of the 7 Division Provost Group as further investigations continue.
