Concern Raised Over Sorghum Quality From Maxmine Nigeria Limited, Ibadan
I am raising concerns about sorghum reportedly supplied by Maxmine Nigeria Limited in the Alapako area of Ibadan. According to my experience, the company cleaned only a small sample and said it represented the quality of an entire truckload. I found the sorghum to contain stones and other impurities. I am also concerned about possible aflatoxin contamination. Food-processing businesses should independently test and inspect any sorghum or maize grits they purchase before use, especially for products meant for children.
