Bala Abubakar Takes Charge as Wikki Tourists’ New Technical Adviser

Wikki Tourists have appointed Bala Abubakar as their technical adviser ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League season. Abubakar succeeds Evans Ogenyi after the club’s relegation from the NPFL. A CAF B Licence holder, he has coached Lobi Stars, Niger Tornadoes, Katsina United, Doma United, Sunshine Stars and Zabgai International. The Bauchi Elephants will look to Abubakar’s experience to secure an immediate return to the top flight.
